Four Poems
by Gordon Jaylor

Balms

Could be anyplace
Same as ever
One in the same
Balmy burned
yellow headed people
burning heads
yellow balms
Same as the one
could be the same

Cutsie

Red blob with doll
so drippy
She hasn'd an idea
but to cutsie cutsie

Fountain

The fountain he likes
the screen he doesn't
a tremendous world
that he owns
the small sapling
he protects
but is fickle about
exits

Leaf

To live and die
for one reason,
To live and die
for one
season.
