i've been trying to forget you
it's my new hobby
it takes practice
      and i'm far from mastering it:
the art of preventing you
   from creeping into my thoughts.
part of me kicks you out
      the other part sneaks you back in
everything reminds me of you
everyone is compared to you
so
i thought i'd get some books
    to help me in my hobby
but the librarian said to check
    "self-help"
        not
            "recreation"

i'll try another library tomorrow.
