Leaving Too Early
by Alfred Bruey

She said
she had really
felt horny last
night and that
if I had been here
she was sure we
could have had sex
for the first time
and I said I was
here last night and
she said I wasn't
horny then I didn't
feel all hot until after
you left and I said
why didn't you phone
me because I could
have been back here
in five minutes and
she said I didn't want
to bother you and I
said believe me,
it wouldn't have
been any bother.
