Listen to the distance
Two nights I lay
because his father said low
a neighbour said high
and my sister said nothing
Two days later, she tipped me up
said I'm speaking now and so listen up
I can see through curtains
feel through bathrobes
I nodded, I squirmed and I pissed
Come show me your genitals, those generals, your labours lost
the rocks you rot, the cradle lain, your mother's filth, a job lot runt
She cried
Show me your marriage stare, your prick-a-mix, your frail tail white
And she laughed and she screamed and she laughed
So I'm lying low, head bound, curled
A mug's game, it's (blank) and it's never
Rabbits
