MOTU Physics Teacher by James Sutherland

I’ve got three marbles in one of my pockets.
One is like you and one is like me.
The third just rolls and asks pressing questions
Like, “What are the chances you’ll drop me?”
I’d say it is likely that we will fuck today
But I can never really be sure
And I like you.

Every now and then I drop that marble.
Boy, does it roll
And ask pressing questions
Like, “What are the chances you’ll drop me?”

I like to listen to Neil Perry sometimes.
No, that doesn’t mean all my marbles are learning to play
drums well.

One marble might say, “We should fuck.”
The next will answer, “We just want to struggle to be
better.”
But the third will just roll and ask pressing questions
Like, “Why are these ideas exclusively perfect
In the midst of all this sensuous reality?”
